Your post....LOL!

"There is no doubt in my mind that Clinton et al are communicating and WORKING WITH, abetting, our country's enemies. Today. Now. Even in the face of war."
You are surely correct. When the Chinese held our aircrew hostage, Colin Powell told state department officials not to attend a special reception for the new Chinese ambassador at the Chinese Embassy -- less than a mile from where I now post this.
But that evening, as I held protest signs outside the Chinese embassy in one of my first Freeps, I saw Clintonistas from the Clinton State Department come and go.
Even though the current state department had said no, these Democraticos were running their own parallel diplomacy and still gracing the new ambassador with their presence. Even as our air crew was held hostage. If you can imagine.
I remember one of them driving off and I yelled "Traitor!" He angrily said to me: "I fought in World War II!" And just before his door shut, we explained, "For which side?" This well-dressed, good-looking elderly gentleman flipped me the bird. Such classy people. They hate Republicans more than they love our country.

Glad to see you two have arrived.
Billie kindly has assisted me with posting something I compiled my last year in Alaska - that of '65-'66.
I daily clipped the weather things from the newspaper and made a collage of some.
She wasn't able to get them all "shaped down", but I truly appreciate her help.
Here was some of my reality of the time!

Dear Calorie-Challenged Man,
Are your ears burning? Or whatever substitutes for ears on your God-forsaken planet?
And what's with the article "The." I'm not "The FreeTheHostages." It's not "The St.Louie1." What exactly is your problem?
;) She who misses fighting with you,

I'm so happy for you surviving that brutal weather in Alaska...and that you never have to complain about the weather again ;)
To: dutchess
LOL -- no offense taken! I understand completely. Not only do I find chess fascinating, but I think tax forms are interesting. (No really I do -- I like that stuff.)
But it's pretty exciting that a woman is now second in a major international tournament with all the biggest chess names, no? With no affirmative action or such: just fair and square merit.
Judith Polgar's a swashbuckling player too -- very aggressive and deadly under time pressure.
Hee hee, I suppose if I ever wanted to get FIRED here I could write an essay on chess. ;)

Yikes....no more complaining about the cold here. That's neat that you kept those articles!

Hi girlfriend. It occurs to me that we should pray all the time for our President because he needs our prayers, but that's not all. We should pray for our President because he prays for us. Looking forward to our next meeting.

We should all, on our European vacations, avoid France and go straight to Scotland, England, Ireland, and AustraliaI've just proposed a boycott of France (and Germany). Please check it out.
To: mountaineer
THIS IS A GOOD IDEA! Let me go take a look. Maybe us DC local freepers could peacefully, through persuasion, encourage people seeking tourist visas from these countries' US visa offices here in to find better places to visit.

We should all, on our European vacations, avoid France and go straight to Scotland, England, Ireland, and Australia.Agreed! I have a cousin who has traveled the world and she thought Ireland was the most beautiful place she'd ever seen although she did go in May when it's the greenest.
Mama Bear could you please educate us on the best Califrornia wines now that we've given up our European brands?
