Indeed. What is next? It's extremely unlikely that Ritter is "cured" of his pedophilia, which means he is almost certain to re-offend. Probably, he already has done so. As I've said elsewhere, we haven't heard the end of this. Somebody is going to probe his past and I'm betting that he will hit paydirt (so to speak).

I'd be willing to bet that Scottie was flipped before this arrest, which might also explain why Ritter is still appearing in public: there's a lot more on him than just this.

Perhaps we can turn lemons into lemonade. He's a former Marine. Recall him to active duty, drop him into Baghdad with orders to b*gger Saddam. If Saddam walks with a hitch, we'll know he's accomplished his mission.
