If a case is sealed, is the accused allowed to divulge anything?

Brown said CNN attorneys reviewed the law and could find nothing therein which would bar Ritter from speaking about it.

If CNN had any smarts at all, they would bring on this attorney rfn to reiterate. When Ritter tries to contradict him, he could say, "Well, Mr. Ritter, I've practiced criminal law in the state of New York for 41 years. I've taught it. I think I know more about it than you do, and an order to seal is not the same as a gag order on you."
