Duke losing two straight. CNN tough on commies. It's a sure sign of the apocolypse. Remember the Bill Murray Ghostbusters line: "Fire and brimstone falling from the sky! Cat's and dogs living together!!..."

Besides, I wonder how many people here are guilty of viewing pornography on these boards, teen porn or otherwise. So what teen porn boards do you go to?

Hahahaha! Event the brain-dead bozoa at DU can see that Ritter just shot himself in both feet! Maybe Scotty bin Ritter should call a press conference so he can shake his finger at America and intone, "Now, you listen to me. I did not solicit sexual relations with that underage vixen, Ms. whazzername." LOLOL!

I think you're right. Call me crazy, but I don't remember the post-season being this compacted. Or maybe I'm well on my way to being a cracked old man.

Oh, my!
I've been reading this thread just fascinated at the description of the Brown/Ritter interview. But your link! Well, if that's how THEY felt about the interview it doesn't sound like Ritter could have done a worse job.
Very interesting, indeed.

What do you think about Ritter's actually showing up at the arranged rendevous w/the 16 year old girl, especially after having been previously warned?

Fantastic! LOL!

If he was set up or falsely accused, he would have been loudly proclaiming his innocence on every media outlet available from the second the charges were made public.
Instead he went into hiding, and only came out when it was clear the story was NOT going away.
If he were innocent, he had the perfect opportunity to look America (at least the part that watches CNN) square in the eye and say "These charges are BS!!!"
Instead he lied and prevaricated and tried to hide behind weasel words and legal gobbledygook.
You can't go on national TV to try to dance, get sawed off at the knees, and then expect the viewers to believe anything you say.

Must be a reason. I am still trying to figure out North and South in the conferences. And the free agent concept.

The end is definitely near........

Going through counseling means he plea bargained and cut a deal. If he wanted to fight the charge, he could have.

Going through court ordered counseling doesn't mean that this man is guilty of any sex crime. Right. They stop people on the street and make them go. Right.

YOU ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW
A deal was struck. To get that deal Ritter had to admit to something. The deal, like any other deal, was in lieu of your "court of law". Mr. Ritter apparently did not option for "his day in court". Quite the opposite, he chose to avoid it.
Besides that, Mr. Ritter has placed himself in a position of celebrity and inserted himself into the "court of public opinion" with his defense of Iraq. His high profile was one he built on his own words. And he backed those words with his own character. Mr. Ritter stood on his character. Now he has to prove that he has something to stand on. He has to defend himself. Which will be hard to do because he did not defend himself after his second arrest.
Ritter jumped into the quicksand. He was not pushed. And give me a break with any liberal/conservative arguments. Most liberals I know would have the same reaction as any conservative when it comes to children. From the most liberal to the most conservative of any race color or creed you will find that messing with children isn't tolerated.
