**Has the joke about why Ritter cannot go to Baghdad been told?
Punch line: No internet access.**
No Burger Kings either, I'd imagine.

since there isn't football on this weekend.LOL, you must be from Philadelphia.

He dodged the central issue. His prior conduct, regardless of legalisms. He's done.

did I read right that he said he was here for peace?

Why did he come on this show? Because he thought Aaron Brown would be a soft & mushy interview, full of understanding & sympathy--and that Ritter would be able to spin his way out of it. And he ran into a buzzsaw--Aaron Brown found his cojones.
I loved the "extrajudicial" part--he got that from his lawyer (whom was probably sitting just out of sight & passing him notes). And I LOVED the "radioactive" stuff. Brown gave him chance after chance to explain himself, pointed out Ritter was lying about him not being able to talk about the case and then nailed him with a question about the case--and again, Ritter wouldn't answer.
Brown looked and sounded totally disgusted with Ritter. And this was a *soft* interview. Can you imagine him with ANYONE on Fox, even MSNBC, being any softer on Ritter than Aaron Brown? The only place Ritter can go is on Donahue--and we'll know when he shows & can call in.

"...why did CNN even bother to have Ritter on?"They knew this scandal wasn't going to go away, that he's on his way down. By being the first (or one of the first) to plant the dagger in him, at least CNN gets to do something to rescue their sagging viewership, ratings and profits. It looks like a brutally pragmatic decision to me.

Big time. There ain't nothing better than seeing a traitor/child molester squirm. I hope his family is so embarassed that they abondon Scotty and he dies an impoverished broken old man in South America.

It will be re-aired later tonight on the east at 1:00 am, 10:00pm on the left coast.
To: chnsmok
I wish Brown would have asked Ritter to show him his passport. I'll bet he "lost" it somehow.

Oh, and those of you who have a chance should probably try to tune in for Fox and Friends tomorrow morning. I think their take on this will be precious.

No, I hope he moves on with his life and takes care of his wife and twin daughters. He needs to take care of his family. I hope that his court-ordered counseling helped.

I not from Philly, but I like the team and I'm not happy that they did a huge playoff choke.

Definitely must-see TV. If it comes around again, I'm going to record it and have a party this weekend. I need a diversion anyway since there isn't football on this weekend. You think the Raiders fans will burn down the stadium before Sunday?

I'm gonna record it. It's a keeper!! Heck, I'll even break out the tab on the tape so that I can't record over it.
