Hey I grew up around gays and not much would surprise me. I could tell some stories. Being vindictive and trying to infect people is quite plausible.

It sounds too weird and evil to be true.

In just the past month, I've heard things that are too weird to be true, but true they are. For example, the story from Germany about a guy that answered the ad in Germany to voluntarily die - after they cooked and ate his penis - in some freaky ritual, was in the news not long ago. Then last night I watched some cable channel showing people purposely severing their own fingers, injecting saline solution into their foreheads, hanging several feet in the air suspended from a rod of some kind piercing their skin, etc.

Makes your skin crawl; there are some really serious weirdoes out there.
