Somebody here around the Sniper timeline noticed the handwriting on the anthrax letters and on the notes to Moose were so similar as to be identical.

There are several similarities in the Anthax letters and Sniper note:

1. PRINTED: All samples are printed though the Anthrax letters are all caps and the Sniper note is in both upper & lower case.

2. TOP CENTER The Anthrax letters have the date centered at the top of the page. The Sniper letter has the page number centered at the top of the page. (Unlikely positions for most, I think).

3. SPACING All samples have exaggerated spacing between words.

4. LINE IT UP There appears to be an habitual effort to line things up. In the Anthrax letters, the text is brief and take only one line but the left margin is strong and there is an attempt to line other words up. In the sniper letter, the text is longer, taking up two lines but "indenting" to line things up is apparent.

5. SPELLING There are mispelled words in both cases.

6. TEXT The contents of the text is similar; a threat and instructions; We have anthrax, take Penacilin. We have a gun, deposit money. HOWEVER, once the news of a possible Anthrax attack was in the media, they continued and deposited 2 more letters (to the Senators) in the mail AND once the sniper letter was out, they continued and killed five more people. SO, THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE NOT INSTRUCTIONS IN FACT BUT MERE "INSIDERS KNOWLEDGE" AND ADDITIONAL MEDIA EXPOSURE. My best guess is that, as usual, the terrorists WATCHED our entire response, particularly how our leaders were protected.

I have little doubt that Mohammed "the Sniper" is associated with the terrorists and is willing to accept the death penalty as his martyrdom. Malvo probably doesn't know how that association worked but I do believe we will find his achiles heel before we are done and he will scream "I hate America" and Americans for everyone to hear.

The big lightbulb for me was: Malvo's last day at school was October 5th, 2001, the day Steven's (AMI) died. He told no one and arrived at the Mission in Washington State on October 20th.

He had had perfect attendance at the school. It is four days by bus to Washington. Where was he for 10 days??

But she was with NIPC, doing cybercrimes, yes? I thought that might be Nigerian bank frauds and similar stuff.

A calendar which was printed in Egypt and for the month of September shows a crashing passenger plane with Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty as a backdrop -- and which was printed in May, a full three months before the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on America -- has caused an uproar in the Dutch town of Almere, Netherlands, the newspaper De Telegraaf reported yesterday.

The calendar was distributed at an Islamic school long before the World Trade Center attacks. Mayor Hans Ouwerkerk, who was alerted to the calendar's existence in the local Islamic school in the town of Almere, immediately notified the Dutch internal security service (BVD) about the strange coincidence. The BVD is reportedly investigating the matter.

"I am supported by Allah, to die for Allah" was quoted on the calendar, the same words reportedly used by an EgyptAir pilot who allegedly crashed a jet in November of 1999.

The Almere Town Council has "urgently advised" the management of the Islamic School Foundation to "cooperate with the Dutch authorities and help determine the calendar's origin."

Deputy Mayor Henk Smeeman said the distribution of such controversial Islamic-extremist fundamentalist propaganda material "cannot be tolerated in Almere. The Town Council is a strong supporter of maintaining good intercultural relationships with one another," he said. Some of the calendar's other illustrations show a stone-throwing Palestinian demonstrator in front of the Al-Aksa mosque in Jerusalem, an Egyptian military assault during the six-day war against Israel, and a futuristic image of a Palestinian "freeing" of Jerusalem.

The head of the Islamic school, Mrs. Dekker, allegedly had a large number of calendars in her possession from the end of May to the beginning of June, well-informed sources informed De Telegraaf. When confronted with the calendar images, she responded in a shocked, startled manner, asking "How did you get this" before shrouding herself in silence when further questioned by journalists.

De Telegraaf also reported today that Dutch authorities abruptly closed the major traffic arteries into Rotterdam and Amsterdam through four river tunnels -- in immediate response to a highly detailed letter to the Dutch news agency ANP that described the exact time (8:10 a.m.) and the colors and types of vehicles that would have been used in a closely timed wave of suicide attacks at the height of rush hour in two of the world's busiest harbor cities.

Dutch police arrested a large number of individuals who had been identified by the anonymous tipster, who also warned that a great many other terrorist attacks would be carried out worldwide. Collapsing these riverine tunnels would have meant the immediate closure of these busy international harbors, seriously disrupting international trade.

Owner of Florida Aviation School Survives Helicopter Crash; Company Trained Sept. 11 Hijackers

FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) - A helicopter carrying the owner of a flight school where two of the Sept. 11 hijackers trained crashed into a river Friday, and another pilot rescued him from the sinking aircraft.
Rudi Dekkers, 48, was not seriously hurt, police said.

Dekkers, owner of Huffman Aviation and president of Dekkers Aviation Group, was on his way to work when the helicopter flipped over and plunged into the Caloosahatchee River near downtown Fort Myers at 7:25 a.m., police said.

Dekkers climbed on part of the helicopter before it submerged, and a passing helicopter pilot, 35-year-old Tony Douangdara, spotted the wreck.

Dekkers grabbed the landing runners on Douangdara's helicopter, which pulled him from the river.

Douangdara dropped Dekkers off at a nearby home, and with fuel stinging his skin, Dekkers went into the pool to wash off.

Dekkers was taken to a hospital but his condition was not serious, Fort Myers Police spokeswoman Kara Winton said.

A Huffman Aviation employee said she had talked to Dekkers but declined to comment.

Two of the Sept. 11, 2001, hijackers, Mohamed Atta and Marwan Al-Shehhi, took flight lessons at Huffman Aviation in Venice, 70 miles south of Tampa. They obtained multiengine commercial licenses on Dec. 21, 2000.

Dekkers was charged this month with felony fraud for failing to repay a $200,000 loan. He has denied criminal wrongdoing.

As the sniper killings continue, many theories have been put forth. One of the most interesting has been expressed by Dr. Eugene Narrett, an author of a book on the Oslo agreements that were supposed to end the hostilities between the Palestinian Authority and the nation of Israel. He notes that, "Beginning in 1995, during the first Clinton administration, the CIA began training Palestinians as long-distance snipers." "This was typical of the madness of Oslo and it was justified as being part of the 'security arrangements' of the Interim Accords. Ostensibly and for public consumption these US-trained Arab snipers would help prevent infractions of the holy Oslo charade. The far more plausible scenario that they would use their US supplied skills and equipment to murder Israelis and Americans seems to have weighed little with our 'intelligence' officers."

The real news right now is not in what they’re giving us; it’s in what they’re leaving out. In the two major strands of the investigation as leaked to the press--the German connection which is everywhere, and the money trail--both have the Gulf Coast of Florida anchoring one end of the rainbow.

Today's Boston Globe has a former CIA counterterrorism chief fingering Islamic Jihad.

ITEM: The director of an Islamic studies think tank in Tampa was proclaimed the leader of Islamic Jihad in 1996. Afterwards the new think tank chief was held by the government for more than three and a half years on secret evidence, in a Bradenton, Florida jail.

The man, Mazen Al-Najjar, was eventually released after courts ruled that he could not be detained further without just cause.

On his release, local reporters wrote that the government had reluctantly revealed only the smallest bit of its evidence against him.

ITEM: on the day of the attack Sarasota police said the Secret Service interrogated four Sudanese men after getting a tip that the men intended to harm President Bush during his visit to the city. The incident was found to be "unrelated" to the attacks, and ended in the release of the men.

Four Sudanese men? In Sarasota, Florida? We'd have sooner believed that Katherine Harris was secretly dating Dennis Rodman than that you could ever find four Sudanese in whitebread Sarasota, Florida.

What were they doing? Pricing retirement real estate? Closing a deal to buy Florida's old election machines on the cheap?

Then we get to Venice Florida. The Venice Florida airport, where virtually all of the terrorist pilots trained, is the biggest September 11th crime scene that wasn't reduced to rubble.

What was its attraction to the pilot trainees in Bin Lauden's terrorist air force? ITEM: Investigators are focusing on Mr. Bin al-Shibh," reports today’s New York Times, "who lived with Mr. Atta and other members of the Hamburg cell... (and who) transferred 2,000 Deutschmarks, or about $4,200, through Citibank to the West Coast Bank in Florida as a down payment at the same flight school attended by Mr. Jarrah."

That’s the news they’re giving us.

ITEM: That money went to Arne Kruithof, owner of the Florida Flight Training School at the tiny Venice Florida airport.

The New York Times neglects to mention it. The Los Angeles Times reported that "Atta and al-Shehhi, who were roommates while living in Germany, arrived in the United States within days of each other in mid-2000. They got flight lessons in Florida, but not at the same location as Jarrah."

ITEM: Jarrah got his lessons right next door, at Arne Kruithof’s school. All were at the tiny Venice Airport. The Los Angeles Times neglects to mention it. Nor do they bother to offer any reason for the apparent affinity of middle eastern terrorists for sleepy enclaves filled with widows with blue hair on the Florida Gulf Coast.

ITEM: Almost all of the terrorist pilots received their initial training in Venice, either at Kruithof’s or at Dekkers' flight school. Together, these two schools trained the core cadre of foreign national terrorist pilots.

ITEM: Atta moved from Germany to train with Dekkers' flight school in Venice, Huffman Aviation. At least four other members of the same terrorist cell followed him.

ITEM: Dekkers was actively engaged in an aggressive European "marketing" campaign at the exact same time Atta and his cadre left Hamburg and moved to Florida. Instead of wandering into his flight school, as Dekkers’ has attested, Atta may have been recruited--by Dekkers.

The New York Times neglects to mention it.

Dekkers went on television after the disaster insisting the terrorist pilots had had only the most fleeting of associations with his flight school.

ITEM: When houses were raided in South Florida, two men caught said they were Saudi pilots on a 15-month pilot's course at Dekkers’ Huffman Aviation.

ITEM: The FBI was swarming Huffman Aviation by 2 a.m., just 18 hours following the attack. They removed student files from two schools at the Venice airport: Huffman Aviation and the Florida Flight Training Center just down the street.

"The FBI Knew Terrorists Were Using Flight Schools," reported the Washington Post a week later. They said Federal authorities have been aware for years that suspected terrorists with ties to Osama bin Laden were receiving flight training at schools in the United States.

ITEM: Whatever the big secret is, they know about it at the FBI, even if mum’s the word.

ITEM: Dekkers and Kruithof are both Dutch nationals. They bought their supposedly competing flights schools within months of each other two years ago.

The New York Times neglects to mention it.

In all, 27 terrorists were trained to fly, the LA Times said. Rudi Dekker’s flight schools (he has another down the road in Naples) were training four hundred foreign national...a year. ITEM: A Dekkers employee named Charlie Voss housed the two ringleaders of the cell when they arrived in this country. Voss was described in press reports variously as an "ex-aviation worker, a "company clerk," or a" bookkeeper." ITEM: Nobody described Voss as an "ex-C130 pilot," although that would have been accurate too.

Just so. But the activities of terrorists from the Moluccan community in Holland, particularly those from a North Moluccan Muslim background, have been under scrutiny since at least 1977, since the Du Punt train hijacking of that year.
