Heard a news blurb today about college endowments suffering this year, the worst since 1974....

The University of Pittsburgh did something pukey recently. They raised tuition rates by 14% and the college prez coincidentally received a 14% raise. (!!!) There's been some outcry in our local Pittsburgh papers.

Read something in the paper this past month about the Connecticut College. IIRC, the article said the president
made about $875K/year. This, with all of about 1800 students...

The article blamed the trustees. Don't get me started.
