Ask yourself this: why didn't it end up on Brokaw's newscast a year-and-a-half ago? Or on WNYT, at least?
We have an arrest of a "William Ritter". We have his mug shot. We have video of his arrest at a Burger King. Are you telling me that nobody at the station, or at the newspaper, figured out that "William Ritter" was the media celebrity, Scott Ritter, who lived in Delmar?
Are the journalists in the Albany-Schenectady-Troy market such dumb bunnies that they can't put two and two together -- and realize they're sitting on a major story involving a media and political celebrity?
And what's with the sealed records? How does Scott Ritter get a pass from the local authorities, as well as the local media? Who was in the pay of who? Who got the word? And who passed it?
Was Iraq involved? Directly or thru local politicos?
For security purposes (as well as political reasons), all these questions need answers. And I don't believe the media or the NY state Democrats want to give any...
And one mind-numbing question you didn't mention - - how on earth is there a sex-sting bust at the local Burger King complete with mugshots and local TV cameras rolling.... and the District Attorney knows nothing about any of this until he is asked about it a year-and-a-half later by a local newspaper reporter???
And apparently this local TV station was given a heads-up about a sex sting bust at the local Burger King so they could be there with their cameras rolling. Who tipped them off?
And by the way, who tipped off this local newspaper reporter to look up the DA with regard to an interesting little tidbit from a year-and-a-half earlier???
Meanwhile, I am patiently awaiting the scoop on this "veteran Assistant District Attorney Cynthia Preiser". She (apparently) just lost her career. Who got to her?
The stench from this whole thing is making my head explode.
