Well, I used to send Tabasco and other flavorings to guys during Desert Storm! They love anything that makes the food taste better! However, spices are specifically excluded! So, I would think gift sets of hot sauces, etc. would be one item that might be welcome!
Packed heavily in bubble wrap of course!
