It's still a beta piece of software. Ultimately you will want to switch.
Also very good is Konqueror. Originally developed for the KDE desktop fo *nix platforms, Apple is basing the new Safari browser upon the code. If you do Unix, give it a try.

Phoenix is pre-alpha, ie 0.5. So YMMV.
Mozilla is released 1.2.1
I use Mozilla 1.2.1 as my default crose platform browser. No popups as a starter. Tabbed browsing is tops if you do a lot of research.
