I was an air controller, trained to operate 3 different radar systems, the AN-TPQ-10, the AN-TYA-3, and the AN-TPS-32. Trained to operate the AN-UYQ-3 radio van, the TSQ-122 communication shelter, drive and operate the MRC-87, TRC-75, PRC-25 and PRC-75, PRC-77 and PRC-47. Called in Air Strikes, MEDEVAC, Troop Resupply and Radar Guided bombing, also guided aircraft from takeoff to hand off to the FAC. Qualified for the CORPS with a 135 GCT score in 77. Dropped only 4 points in Boot Camp.
Had to go to school for all that. Funny, when I worked at Kaman Aerospace on SH-2's for the Navy, all I had to do was show up with a wrench and they showed me what to do.
Yeah, Calculus. I am an engineer now, and still dont need it for manufacturing or designing. Graduated with a 3.97 GPA.
Yeah. Marines are stupid. Right.
At least we dont dress like SkyCaps in the airport when in uniform.

", PRC-77 and PRC-47..."Don't spread that around, it detracts from your other accomplishments. ;)
