If I recall correctly, old Nguyen was pretty badly shot up himself in the later stages of Tet. But he made it out in '75 and by the early 80's had a restaurant in the DC area.

Funny, but the photo never caused the same emotions in me that it apparently did among those in our society who're more enlightened. Just another day at the office.

I think you're right, but from what I understand the guy was all nads. Saigon was a mess during Tet, the ARVNs did most of the fighting in the inner city and there was a lot of payback on both sides.

Just before he died the peace scum started to give him a bad time, owned a resturant, I think.
