The closer one is to the NYC area the higher the COL in NJ unless one lives in an urban envirornment which has its own problems. If one has firearms one would be advised to completely check out the NJ law regarding firearms. Taxes are expected to increase in NJ and as it is now the cost of real estate in some counties is about as high as it is possible to imagine 525,000 for a three bedromm raised ranch under 2500 sq feet in Paramus.

I am familiar with Paramus I grew up 2 towns over from there. as far as the weapons laws are if they don't know I have them they can't steal them and along with that I will not be a victim to a punk(s).
