Actually she is an All American Girl from Missouri who has a degree in music and voice from University of Missouri i.e., classically trained. She was an elementary school teacher in St Louis before heading for California where she made it as a back up singer and eventual star who writes her own songs and can play guitar like a man which is quite an accomplishment for a woman. She grew up in a loving family with lots of music. She has no, I repeat, no piercings or tatoos and never did drugs. She is not a slut or a sperm receptacle like Courtney Love and Madonna. Sorry if I sound short but I have a lot of respect for Sheryl Crow. She is a lot different from the Hollywood scumbags we are so used to.
