How are they going to blame all the download pirates for this one?

I'm sure it wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that the music award shows suck.

Or that the MUSIC sucks, just like the entire music industry right now.

The entertainment industry is the most self congratulatory bunch in any industry. Award shows are a dime a dozen and are beginning to grate on viewers sensibilities ... enough is enough ... give it a break!

Face it - if the likes of Eminem are winning four of these, they aren't really "music awards", they are a popularity poll. So who needs to watch?

There's just too many damn award shows in general. The People's Choice Awards (the one where even the artists don't show up) was on just the night before. They need to get back to the orginal 3: Grammys for music, Emmys for TV, Oscars for Movies.

"FOX must be giddy at the success of Joe Millionaire..

I missed the Batchelor shows this one spoofs...but caught the latter half of Joe last night. People are watching this one...because it takes the piss out of these idiotic women. The Joe guy himself, is pretty funny too...obviously they can't run a series like this after the gig is up...but I thought it was a hoot.

What is the question?

Ummm... how many roads must a man walk down?

Of course, the question cannot be the following: "Complete this quote: 'Of course you realize, this means ____!'"

It IS a hoot, because Evan, the faux millionaire, is so unpretentious and self-deprecating - and the girls are such lamebrains. Evan actually DOES have a VERY nice voice, if uncultured, and the things he says do not suggest that he is uneducated or dim-witted. At times, he sounds pretty quick on the uptake. Some producer could take this guy and mold him into a real talent in just a few months.

We especially liked the chores he had the girls doing on their "dates" last night - shoveling horse manure, picking grapes, and shoveling coal on an old-fashioned steam locomotive. Makes it pretty easy to weed out the prima donnas.

Shows like this are really funny, because when you take a bunch of twits, put them in a strange surrounding with no script and an element of competition, the twits will behave in all sorts of ridiculous ways.

One of the "funnest" jobs in America must be editing all the raw footage for these shows into a coherent episode.
