This is the most crucial moment for conservatives in the past two decades. With Sharpton poised to shake up the black vote block in the Democratic party next year, we want and need the support of all black conservatives. We have a chance next year to once and for all put a stake in the heart of the Dem vampire, the new black conservative movement could be the mallet.

I was active in the fight for Prop 209, which almost was lost because of the weakness and total stupidity of the Dole campaign. We ended up very well but still lost the votes of many Democrats who hate racial preferences (votes which we had before the ham-handed entry of the California Republican Party and the Dole campaign.

I will not say anything right now about President Bush's decision on or before Thursday.

Now we all will get a real clear look at the stuff that President Bush is made of.
