What's the error message?
Are either listed in Add-Remove programs, or is it just the folders that remain?
What version of Windows are you running?

Well I've got to hand it to Case for vision. I mean, he took control of AOL from Sears/HR Block back in the early 90's after they collectively took a $1B bath on the investment when it was just a BBS using old 300-600-1200 baud modems.

If I were him I'd try to do exactly what he did. But you'd think the TW shareholders were smarter than that. They had their own cable interests, too... and the broadband they offered deserved a premium due to speed. It's not like they were novices, they were the directors of one of America's largest and most important companies.

I agree, it was all hype and BS, but I am just surprised that the old TW board didn't see through it. Greed must have blinded them.

hey steve, you gun grabbin piece of refuse... d'ja get a clue?

One of ***MANY*** reasons .45MAN and I quit them 4 years ago. We each had separate accounts, so they lost two paying members.

It never made much sense to us that our browser allowed access to ANY XXX site (plus all of the XXX SPAM our mailboxes would hold!) but restricted access to weapons sites.

I can't wait for the final "flushing" noise as AOHell completes its journey down the toilet!

He, however, got his $160 million from the sale of stock.

loved the graphic, but it wasn't readable at that reduced size...

And besides once our browsers load it once, it takes no longer to display it full sized

Probably because TW had it's own problems. It's had a very high debt load for over a decade. It needed more and more growth to keep that load from dragging them down. They gambled that the Internet bubble would continue so that the new company's stock price would continue to rapidly grow enough to help reduce that debt load.
