Did anyone else just catch what Tony Snow just said? He said sources have told him the President is going to propose even greater changes to the health care system than Clinton did in 1994. What the hell?

He said during his presidential campaign that the entire Medicare system had to be reformed so I would guess that is a big part of it. I doubt that he would ever go about this in the hillary way, so don't get too upset over what one person says...Tony Snow, IMHO, has sounded a lot more like a RAT than a Republican lately. I almost can't stand him anymore.

MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Al Sharpton, president of the National Action Network; Oh please.
Timmy "Potato(e) Face" Russert's standards continue to fall. What's next Timmy? A 2 hour special with Farrakhan?

I doubt that he would ever go about this in the hillary way, That was the first thing that went through my mind. As long as his "plan" gives less power to the government, he and I will be on the same page.

former defense secretary William S. Cohen The worst, absolute worst SECDEF since LBJ's boys were running the show.
Rumsfeld has made Cohen look like a buffoon in comparison.

Good Grief. What a horror show CNN came up with today!
Could they possibly any find more former Clinton advisers?

"Tony Snow, IMHO, has sounded a lot more like a RAT than a Republican lately. I almost can't stand him anymore.." Tony is sorta the nice guy, weak sister...like everyone he interviews is in his kids' carpool, and he doesn't want to hurt their feelings or make them uncomfortable. Real nice guy, but if you want information, or you want feet held to the fire, it won't happen with Tony as the interviewer.
Did you get a load of the ABC line-up? As if Little Georgie couldn't bash Bush enough, needed a 3 man tag team for back-up. I don't think I've ever seen such a one-sided show, even on ABC.

Just remember two things when you read other people's words (in the 'mainstream' media) about GWB. He has vision and he truly wants what will be best for Americans. He is not beholden to unions or corporations, no matter what accusations are smeared that way.

Frist is doing a GREAT job on Russert's show. Missed some of it because of phone call, but he's defending the Republican position very intelligently. When asked about the Pickering re-nomination, he said something about Byrd being a former KKK member! We need a transcript of this exchange. His acceptance speech of Majority Leader was one of the worst I've ever heard but he's redeeming himself. Simply terrific job.
