Quigley was removed from the tree shortly before 11 p.m. on Friday by Los Angeles County

Sheriffs deputies did not take him into custody, and had said earlier that he would not be arrested if he did not try to resist them once he was cut free of the tree. Good stuff. In light of the above excerpt, the title seems a little misleading to me.

The same builder is involved in a squabble with Indians and Enviro-Nazis here in Orange County. They want to build some homes in Seal Beach and the activists say the land is a sacred Indian burial ground. If they do build the houses, I hope the disclose this to the buyers because I saw the movie Poltergeist and.....

I still maintain that they should have cut down the tree with that fool still in it. 'F' him.

If they have a way to get through this device then at that point theres nothing I can do to stay in the tree if they want to remove me, he said.Someone could've nailed him to it.

If we had proper punishments for crimes less than felony this man's conduct could be dealt with. The judge should have had the power to order a whipping after they took this excreta down from the tree. Put him in the stocks facing the tree in question and give him 50. He and his pathetic supporters would think twice about naming trees and sitting in them. As he was whipped the rest of us could look on with joy and satisfaction. Peals of Homeric laughter would rise from the holiday crowd. Couples would stroll hand in hand, kiddies would frolic, dwarfs would cut tricks, jugglers, tight rope walkers, balloons, t-shirts, flowers, maybe even a wedding or two. America would laugh again.
