I decided that if I did not get the chance to run again that this was ok. As long as I do what I sincerely believe is the right thing for honest reasons, that is enough for me. I have managed to find work for 30 years. I can always work as a file clerk - lol.

I did the same. It's not the loss of "a job" that bothers you! It's the dismantling of all the good you did that is so disturbing!!!

I was thinking this AM how the entire political spectrum at all levels are like "schools of thought" that mimick "schools of fish!" Those who are aggresive, clever and audacious enough can make "schools of thought" turn on a dime in an extremely short time. Society, right now, is in a "fight or flight" frame of mind and it looks from here like "fright and flight" has the upperhand by a country mile!!!

Challenging times require confident, well-ordered minds! There are old elected public officials and there are bold elected public officials. But there are no old, bold elected public officials.
