General,
It is always stipulated when solving for a variable that the divisor is not equal to 0. It tends to give some very odd answers.

(Let A=B, and B=1. Then AB=AA, AB=A(^2), AB-B(^2)=A(^2)-B(^2), B(A-B)=(A+B)(A-B), B=A+B, A=0.So 1=0.)
