We've figured out that the court system in this country makes marriage an extremely, extremely dangerous option for men. If your wife, entirely on her own, decides she's tired of the marriage, she will get custody of the kids and 70-80% of your earnings (imputed income!?!).

Yep.. Thanks to current divorce laws, it makes little sense for a single man to get married.

Furthermore, for many American men, a divorce would amount to a literal death sentence if she got a restraining order (SOP in many states even without any violence). Thanks to illegal federal dictates, a restraining order means no guns.

Since many of us will refuse to surrender our guns, the potential for a deadly standoff exists.

Personally, I'm not opposed to the idea of marriage. If the right woman comes along, I'd go for it. Otherwise, I'm much better off earning money for myself. Once you get some money, you'll get the women.
