I'm not joking!!! Los Angeles is screwed up.
I agree with that statement 100%. Where do you live by the way ? Want to go out on a date ? lol
To: John Lenin
Look at her profile page. She's a looker and has brains ! :-)
To: sonserae
No need for complaining then
I am not complaining, merely pointing out that attitudes like yours will cause any self-respecting man to hurry in the other direction.
To: nopardons
Ha...Your comments made me laugh! I just broke off an engagement with a guy who actually had some masculine qualities for once....but after spending some excruciating time with him, I noticed that he either talked about sports or threw a tantrum and yelled....and social graces...let me tell you!!! One time in a restaurant I told him he had cheese on his chin. He responded by picking up his eggs with salsa on them with his bare hands and smeared them all over his face. He yelled in the restaurant, "How's that for ya, is that better!!!" What manners and gentlemanly qualities!!!
To: nopardons
I see that and shes a conservative in Los Angeles. One in a million :)
To: John Lenin
Sure! Being "asked" on a date is a lost art. I was asked by a guy at work recently, "Why don't you ask any of the guys out here? There are a few who want to go out with you but are too scared to ask you"....I told him, "Well, if he's too scared to ask me out, he's not the kind of guy I want to go out with then."

Then
DON'T take women out ! Dating used to be part of the mating ( meaning getting married ! ) process. If you don't want a committed relationship ( what a dreadful, pathetic, stinking PC phrase ! ), then stay home by yourself, or hang out with your male friends.
Frankly, you're too selfish and juvenile for any decent woman to go out with. God only knows WHY women think that they want you ; if that's even the truth. :-)
To: John Lenin
...and a conservative in the entertainment industry no less. I think I'm the only Republican at Sony Pictures. Shhh, don't tell anyone, they may behead me or burn me at the stake.
To: sonserae
You poor girl, stuck around all those liberals at Sony. Now I can understand why you feel the way you do.
To: gratefulwharffratt
Her " attitude " is fine. OTOH, your's stinks to high heaven !

Yawn.
Like I said, I have NO dating troubles. I ALWAYS treat the women I am with, with respect. Neither my masculinity, nor my manners, have ever been questioned, except for right now on this thread.
I just do not want to be tied to any one of them. Frankly, I am GLAD that there is such a large contingent of 30-something single women, as there will always be another woman to go out with, when I get the urge. (I also like older women very much, too.)
It has always been said that women hold all the cards when it comes to dating and sex, but the tide seems to be turning. Who am I to fight progress??
To: sonserae
Oh my ; you poor thing ! My heart goes out to you. Such behavior is about on par with a spoiled, willfull three year old, and you were
engaged to this thing ?
Your experiences, those of my daughter and her friends, and what I've seen posted, by some, on FR, just prove my points and the screaming need for adult " finishing/dating/wooing schools " ! I'd make millions. LOL
To: John Lenin
But, and it's a BIG " but ", are YOU worthy to date her ? :-)
To: nopardons
I want every man to read "Wild at Heart" by John Eldridge. It is from a man's perspective and echos everything I have been trying to say for years....
To: rintense
Don't know if I want to post it though. It's pretty dark.
Confusion is always dark. There is just way too much confusion now between the sexes, even married ones. Women have tried to be more like men and men have tried to be more like women. And so both fail miserably because they weren't made to function that way. And then Hollywood pumps out the perfect romance stories that gives a standard that is just unreachable UNLESS both parties make the decision to keep the relationship going strong "til death do us part". And that kind of commitment just seems to be so rare these days.
I wouldn't post the lyrics here unless you have a copywrite otherwise it becomes public domain. Ah, who is Scott Strapp?

But, and it's a BIG " but ", are YOU worthy to date her ? :-)
It's all in the eyes of the beholder. :)
To: gratefulwharffratt
The " tide " as you call it, turned before you were born, kiddo. Once women started acting like common whores, men like you no longer had to marry, in order to have sex. You can " YAWN " all you want to; however, you are
NO prize. All you are, is a case of arrested developement, filled with delusions of granduer, and braggadochio. You're a dime a dozen, dear.
This isn't " progress " at all. That you seem to think it is just proves how contempable you are. This is destruction. It does no good for women nor men. Oh, but then you aren't a man at all ; just a little boy. ;^)
To: sonserae
I haven't read that book. I'll give it a try, on your recomendation. :-)
To: gratefulwharffratt
Okay, go out with me...I dare you! I definitely wouldn't be begging you for a commitment that is for sure....and that will make you want me more! (HA HA JOKE!)
To: jwh_Denver
Hollywood has
ALWAYS pumped out " perfect " love stories. Unfortunately, today's crop stink and don't really help in the " mating game ".
There have always been " strong " women. What most of today's young women are, is far from " strong " or even role reversing. Today's crop of young men are NOT men.
