I am fairly convinced that the Bush administration is in possession of some very hard evidence that Iraq not only has weapons of mass destruction . . .

I heard Tony Snow on Hannity this afternoon. He said that indeed Bush DOES have proof positive of a "smoking gun", and will use it at the appropriate time. He said that much is being held back to protect those providing the information, because as soon as it is made known, they are as good as dead.

There was a tone in his voice that made me believe he trusts his source of information.

Very thoughtful vanity, BTW. Thanks.

Did he say he got this from admin officials or something?

What I am trying to say is.....was he speculating as a pundit, or did he actually declare that THEY HAVE PROOF. If the latter, he obviously has a source that said so.

I consider Tony Snow to be a very credible source in and of himself. That man has a bright future ahead of him.

It's extraordinarily unlikely that Snow would even suggest such a thing unless he was quite confident of the source, but I think the operative expression here is "appropriate time".

A few more things need to be put in place before the trap can be sprung.
