I was on a jury 18 mo ago...we convicted a guy who beat his wifes head in in the kitchen. he moved her to the basement, put one of her shoes on the stairs as if she fell, and propped her head on an old ships bell (from 1840 or something) as if she smacked her head on it.

He wiped up all the blood in the house, but they used luminol to find it

but for some reason, he forgot to remove his shirt, shoes, and a paper towel with her blood on it...that were in his car.
