WASHINGTON (AP) - Sen. Dianne Feinstein, who supported President Bush's tax cut two years ago, said Thursday she opposes the president's new tax reduction proposal and will try to freeze a portion of the 2001 cuts.
Feinstein, one of 12 Democrats who backed Bush's plan in 2001, said the president's new $670 billion proposal would lead to ``massive deficits'' and is skewed toward the wealthiest Americans.

``We believe this is not a time for tax policies which benefit only a small portion of the population,'' Feinstein said.
What an egregious lie. Go back to your tree stump you repugnant little troll.

I saw Feinstein hugging Lincoln Chaffee today on the tube, right after the Rino bashed Bush's tax cut.

Some truth in advertising would be nice, such as "Multi-Millionaire Senators Feinstein, Boxer and Chafee Oppose Tax Cuts For Middle Class."

Hey Diane how about we stop funding tatoo removal, free breakfast in schools whether we need them or not & you give up your driver driven car for starts? Then this idea of Bush's won't seem like a ball buster?

I think Feinstein and her hubby Blum, a China trader big-time, are billionaires. Conflict of interest? You make the call.

Why does she need to support tax cuts now? She just got reelected. She might be more receptive to tax cuts again in 2007-08.
To: NormsRevenge
The Democrat politicians oppose the tax cut because they don't want the economy to recover and grow at full potential.
They want to be able to complain about the economy during the next election campaign. Just look at their wimpy plan. Its designed for failure.

This is my first time watching Chafee(R-R.I.) lead a newsconference. He seems like such a soft speaking wimp.
