I don't believe it (yet). Why was the young woman picked up? The article doesn't say. Something is missing.

I'm guessing that the woman was picked up when she tried to leave the country to return home. Her documents were incorrectly issued and it appeared that her Visa had expired. But why did it take a two-week jail stay to figure this out? That's outrageous.
