The UN inspectors are a classic case of the bilx leading the blix.

President Bush has the goods and he has showed some of it to Chiraq, otherwise Jacky Chiraqi wouldn't be preparing the French for what's about to happen.

Do YOU know who's exporting the missile materials to Iraq?

U.N. weapons inspectors said Thursday they have not found any "smoking guns" but have discovered that Iraq violated U.N. sanctions by importing parts for its missile program.

Either this is more of the liberal anti-Bush propaganda, or the press is really, really dumb. Maybe both.
Have they no idea what's going on?
It doesn't matter if there's a smoking gun. We know Saddam has WMD because he's used them - twice! Under the terms of surrender, he was to destroy them.
We're looking for evidence. So far, there's no proof, evidence, paperwork, that says he did as the agreement stated.
Until SADDAM PROVES he has no weapons, we're right to replace him. Period!

Russia, Germany, North Korea or China.

Choose one from column A and one from column B.

Thanks! Some good suggestions there, but it doesn't precisely say who is sending material to Iraq.

I'm thinking if it comes out publicly that members of the Security Council were violating U.N. sanctions on selling such material to Iraq.....

During Blix's briefing to the Security Council, he said Iraq had admitted in its weapons declaration to importing missile engines and raw material for the production of solid missile fuel. "This import has taken place in violation of the relevant resolutions regulating import and export to Iraq."

So how do we find out who is exporting missile parts to Iraq?

Would there also be U.N. sanctions against the exporters? Blix says it's a violation.

What if the country or countries selling this material to Iraq are members of the U.N. Security Council? What if it's North Korea?

If you happen to know my dog's name is Gilligan and I used to have that as my screen name it becomes quite significant.

I can't believe that AP will stand by this quote as it seems to be the only organization out there who is reporting Blix's comment. I'm sure an error will be acknowledged and a retraction made.

I talked to friend earlier who said the only thing she had heard was coming from ABC News and ABC radio...and THEY are reporting that no WMD..or component parts have been found, says Blix to Security Council.

AP will retract is my guess.

Fox News is reporting the same thing:

U.N. Chief Weapons Inspector Hans Blix said Iraq had violated U.N. sanctions by importing missile engines and raw material for the production of solid missile fuel.

Again I say, if Iraq is in violation for IMPORTING this stuff, someone else is in violation for EXPORTING IT TO IRAQ. Question is, who?

ROFLOL...how different THIS article is from the Reuters article. That one only mentioned the "no smoking gun" part.

Germany & North Korea are not members of the Security Council, but China & Russia are...

It seems to me that some reporter would have asked the question. Do you suppose it didn't occur to any of them?

"...and was shocked to hear Blix's actual remarks. Nothing close to what the anchors were saying!"

Nope. You'd think they were really desperate to keep us out of Iraq, wouldn't you?

Good deal that FNC is reporting the same, Amelia.

As to the WHO of the 'imports'......good question. Wouldn't they fall in the 'either you are with us or you are against us' category?
