I just listened to a playback of some of the show, and Barkley, the hostess, and the audience all came across as a bunch of doofuses. Savage was more than justified in going into slash-and-burn mode. Those people deserved it.

Is anyone here NOT bothered by the "shine my shoes" comment.

Savage was cleaning Barkley's clock (IMHO) and just lost a load of respect by making a comment like this.

The libs are going to spin this as some kind of racist Lottism, right?

Next time how about saying something like "You couldn't bag my groceries, buster."
