What the RATS have yet to figure out is that their old lines are not going to work this time. When George W. Bush was running for President, he made several comments that have always stayed with me. One was that he wanted to come to Washington to get things done for the people, not just pass the time. And, at the 2000 convention, he said of the Dems: "We are facing something familiar...they are facing something new." My other favorite was: "They had their change...they have not led...we will."

God bless you, Mr. President. You are becoming beloved by many for your honesty, integrity and true grit.

Thanks for reminding us of this great statement by GW, I believe as he accepted the nomination in 2000:

"They had their change...they have not led...we will."

At the 2000 convention, he said of the Dems: "...they have not led...we will."

I loved that refrain. If more of the leftist elites in this country had actually listened to his entire speech at the convention, they would have known much earlier that they were up against a formidable opponent. Since they already KNEW (not) that W was stupid (not), they didn't feel a need to watch it. They are very slow learners.
