Do you have ANY idea how hard it is to find ANYTHING definitive on the hold process for nominees? Even findlaw was a bust. Either that, or I am just an inadequate 'searcher'.....lol.

Try here. The search I did was something like - "judicial nomination" hold delay home state senator - . Many things popped up, and this was the first that seemed somewhat but not totally useful.
