I don't understand why it isn't compatable with OS X 10.1.5, though. After all, it's a 2001 release. This kinda makes me mad, I want to try it out.

Best to bite the bullet and get Jaguar. There were a lot of upgrades in 10.2, and it's definitely worth it. I came over to Mac from Windows, and OSX was one of the reasons, but I was surprised at how much difference Jaguar made. Printer drivers, font kerning, and just a zillion little improvements were made. The difference between IE and Safari, even with Safari in beta is quite amazing, and has me very excited about the future with the Macs.

The difference in performance between it and IE, Netscape, Mozilla, etc. is stunning, and I think gives us a very good idea of where OSX will go when native applications are written for it as opposed to being ported from 9.

Now, if I could just afford one of the new 12" Powerbooks! However, Safari fit right into my budget.
