Sen. Martha Escutia, a Whittier Democrat who presided over Lt. Gov. Cruz Bustamante's inauguration inside the jam-packed Senate chambers, may have uttered the understatement of the day when she said Monday's theme was one of "diversity, union and one California."

This is scarey!! Yesterday our new AZ democrat she-governor was sworn in. Her inaugrial had the exact same tone. In fact, as I recall, her motto for the event was, "Many faiths, many cultures, many diverse people, one Arizona!"

Not an exact quote, but you get the idea! The newsman on our conservative station said, "That's multiculturalism, alright!"

Wow!

Shelley, 46, said he would push to extend polling place hours and allow Californians to vote at any polling location regardless of where they live. "I didn't seek your votes to keep things the same. I came here to fight for change -- starting with changing the way this state votes," Shelley said.

How about starting with the requirement to show proof of ID when you vote? You must show your ID to rent a video but not to vote....it's pretty clear they're really enjoying those illegal votes from the illegal aliens, isn't it?

My wife says "Be carefull what you ask for, you just might get it". In the case of California, I would say they got it. Arizona is not far behind. The question is, how much punishment and pain can they take before they learn.
