I guess it wasn't "real people" that gave the Republicans a win. The "real people" must have been so intimidated by the Royles Royces, BMW's, Jags, and Mercedes parked outside the polls by the priviledged voters that they were too intimidated to vote.
"They are the party of privilege; we stand for opportunity for all," Maddox said in a short speech punctuated several times by applause. "They're for Wall Street; we're for your street."
Yes, that is exactly their problem, they do stand for "opportunity for all", the opportunity to be labled one of the "evil priviledge rich" if you and your wife make a combined income of 100,000 a year, heck if you make 60 grand your rich as far as Demoncrats are concerned.
They are for your street alright, intent on moving members of the "evil, rich, priviledged" middle class off their streets and into the poor house.
The demoncrats problem is that people have begun to know just who they mean by evil rich, and that they personally, working stiffs putting in 50 hours or more a week, are neither. Speeches like this lame excuse, will do nothing but bury them deeper as they pander more to the minorities engulfing the nation. It's not going to do much for Bush either.
