Tell me. Will anyone read this story and NOT get a mental image of our former President talking on the phone in his new home as he peers out from behind the curtains?....

We just don't allow our kids to answer the phone when we aren't home.
That's what answering machines are for!

School officials have sent-home letters, warning about the calls Maybe this has somehow contributed to an increase in the number of occurances.

Trace the call, arrest the bastard and arrange for him to have an "accident" on the way to the police station. It would save the taxpayers a lot of money and parent a lot of anxiety.

>But police don't think the caller is really outside the children's homes.
Not outside their home? That could only mean the perp is inside the home! These police are really sharp. LOL

This kind of random phone terrorism has been around for years. I received a phone call very much like it in 1978, before answering machines and caller ID.
