BTW, what the he** is an LHA? We used to call them LPHs. (LPH="Luxury Pent House" - at least it meant that in the 60s)

Thank you for your blessings... BTW, LHA's (and the newer LHD's) are bigger than the previous LPH's. Besides the helo's and harriers we carry several landing craft such as LCU's, AAV's, LCAC's, etc used for an assault on a beach and we can launch then out of our well deck.
