NOTE: the survival of our Republic is threatened by two things -- fundamentalist Islamic terrorists and Hillary Rodham Clinton. President Bush is leading the fight against the terrorists. It is up to those of us who know the real Hillary Clinton to lead the fight against her. We must shine the light of truth on this dangerous woman so that all Americans may know the real Hillary.
#17 in the continuing series.
In answer to the question, yes, Hillary does have a goon squad. We have known for some time that Hillary insists on controlling those venues in which she appears. She has not appeared at Yankee Stadium because, of course, she would be roundly booed. Perhaps she wishes she would not have shown up on stage at the benefit Concert for New York where she was booed off the stage. In those public venues in which Queen Hillary appears, she gets "a little help from her friends." Those friends are affectionately known as the "goon squad."
Are we making this up? Absolutely not. The source is someone who proudly is in charge of the goon squad. He is Patrick Halley and admits in his book, "On the Road With Hillary," that those who don't like Hillary in a crowd may have the opportunity to get roughed up a bit. Halley is a political hack who has worked for Hillary since 1992. As an advance man, he was in charge of handling all the details that make her look good.
In the following exchange, it is clear that Halley is still very loyal to Hillary despite the fact that his book tells America what he has done for her. This is from an online event on Washington Post online, Sept. 19, 2002, in which questions came from the audience.
Washington, D.C.: Hillary said Ken Starr was part of a "vast right-wing conspiracy" against her and President Clinton. Given the questionable ethics of castigating an Independent Counsel, do you feel that she was right to make that claim?
Patrick S. Halley: I think that anyone who reads David Brock's book "Blinded by the Right" will learn just how true that is. There was indeed a vast right-wing conspiracy and Ken Starr was an integral part of it all.
===========================
That Halley admits what he's done is somewhat amazing. His goons are sprinkled throughout the crowd for Hillary appearances "so there was always someone able to respond quickly."
"Less genteel souls sometimes referred to them as goon squads," he writes his new book. "But I objected to that term. I was proud of the fact that not one of them had ever been arrested," he boasts.
Halley said he prefers the term "etiquette squad" to describe the Clinton goon squads, but he admitted that "they could certainly be intimidating if the occasion called for it."
"The make-up of the etiquette squad differed from event to event, and I always found it best to use folks who were indigenous," he explained. "After all, you wouldn't want to send a team of broad-shouldered teamsters into an event at a women's college."
Halley claims that he "never advocated physical confrontation and always insisted that the etiquette squad stay within the boundaries of the law." But then he confesses, "Sadly, but inevitably, things sometimes got a little frisky, but my recruits knew how to handle themselves."
FROM NEWSMAX:
Rumors of Clinton operatives roughing up both reporters and protesters during Hillary's 2000 Senate campaign were legion, but the mainstream press declined to cover the assaults.
One such altercation took place as Mrs. Clinton marched in New York's St. Patrick's Day parade during the campaign. The scene was described moments later by Metro Network News reporter Glenn Schuck, who assumed that rogue Secret Service agents had been responsible for the thug-like tactics:
"Secret Service agents literally are pushing press to the ground. They just lost their minds, in my opinion," Schuck told WABC Radio's Sean Hannity.
"I mean they just started pushing and shoving; female camera people five feet tall were getting thrown to the ground, cameras flying. Myself, I was grabbed by the shoulder, I was thrown back over. I think somebody from Channel 11 landed on my back. From that point it really didn't get any better."
A few days after Schuck's report, a caller to WOR Radio's Bob Grant Show reported that she and her family were also accosted by the Clinton goons along the parade route.
Caller "Maureen" reported that her family had been booing Mrs. Clinton as she marched along when "they were surrounded by men in trench coats with radios." She quoted the men as saying that they "did not have the right" to heckle, before ordering, "We think you should stop this now."
The goon squad tactics described by Mr. Halley were apparently also practiced by Mr. Clinton's advance team. During an October 1998 protest of the then-president's visit to Philadelphia, demonstrators were set upon by goons wearing T-shirts bearing the message "Teamsters for Clinton."
Philadelphia-native Don Adams was beaten severely during the confrontation and later filed suit against city officials.
Before the revelation in Halley's book, no one previously associated with the Clinton White House had ever admitted using goon squads to stifle free speech.
=======================================
It may be worth noting that while Halley was running the goon squad, he was being paid with taxpayer-subsidized paychecks, compliments of the citizens of Massachusetts, then from the rest of U.S. citizens.
In reading some of the book reviews for "On the Road With Hillary," there was very little mention of the goon squads. In fact, it appears that Kathy Kiely of USA Today was busy kissing Hillary's ample posterior when she wrote the following:
The most significant (and devastating) observation Halley offers has nothing to do with Clinton. It's his take on what motivates the gypsies who, every election season, uproot their lives, disconnect from loved ones and give up regular food and sleep for cold pizza, flat Cokes and all-nighters.
=====================================
To survive politically, Hillary has to hide both her character and her crimes. We can't let that happen. The mainstream press and our fellow Americans need our help.
I guess maybe it's true that rhetoric has come completely unhitched from reality. And thus do lies propagate....
Thanks for a great post, and this great series!
I would like to think she "is history." Instead, she haunts my sleep, this hideous harridan from Hell.
Oooops! I'm engaging in hyperbole again!
Good thinking but Hillary wouldn't have been elected dog catcher if it wasn't for her loathsome husband. However, the worst could happen at this point in time.
By the way, Hillary is a goon, or at least a witch.
However, as much as the mainstream press and our fellow Americans need our help, lets stick with informing Americans directly. The mainstream press,unfortunately,will NEVER report any of these happenings and raise it to the level of the Trent Lott fiasco. It's up to us.
Case in point: Although I did not see the show, Chrissy Matthews could have asked her about this and the other subjects you've got links to. Hardball my ass. She is the answer to their agenda and there is no way they will defy either her or it.
The triumph of the wicked is short.
Yeah. Them "blue areas" sure do give me the chills....
Still, it's entirely possible that Hillary! is entirely over, but just doesn't realize it yet. Seems lately her charming hubby has pretty much dropped off a cliff.... Hopefully, HRC will shortly follow.
I expect it wouldn't hurt much if the likes of you and me were to give her a little "push," any chance we got to do it. Mainly, by telling the truth in public.
What an astounding idea!
Thanks for your fine company this evening, chnsmok.
I dunno, but when I "contemplate the enormity" of an HRC, what I am reminded of is Hannah Arendt's apt phrase, "the banality of evil."
Now I am not merely engaging, but indulging in hyperbole!
She definitely needs to be publicly exposed. Not for any putative sins of her private life. But for the sheer malfeasance and cynicism of her public record so far, and the noxious ideology she spews.
