After presiding over the electricity disaster of the past three years, it's not surprising that Public Utilities Commission President Loretta Lynch was demoted Tuesday by Gov. Gray Davis. She will remain on the commission, but Commissioner Michael Peevey was elevated to the presidency.

The defenestration of Loretta Lynch is so clintonian. She has been a loyal Davis fallaciator all these years, and now she is being publicly discarded like a pair of soiled underwear.
Not that she didn't deserve it...

Lynch didn't have a clue. She was a political appointee, pure and simple. As long as the state was rolling in dough, Davis thought it didn't matter a whit who was the chairperson--it just had to be someone who would be loyal and do his bidding.
He canned her and now he can pin the whole energy fiasco on her. She's a scapegoat. You're right. This is Clintonian.
