Somehow, I don't get any pleasure out of this woman's discomfiture.

When I was small, I was told not to laugh at others in pitiable circumstances.

This woman loomed so large in my youth (saw her live some 35? years ago), that I cannot but hold her in some kind of awe.

I'm sorry about what happened to her this week.
