Do you really find satisfying a rather predictable and rather superfical RNC take on just about everything? This rather partisan Pubbie does not. I never looked to Rush for gravitas, because I knew he had close to none, but I enjoyed his entertainment value. That quality has been degraded as Rush puts less effort into making it happen, in part I suspect because he has long past reached financial critical mass. Thus he is no longer hungry.

I don't think Rush has an "RNC take" on issues at all, although I don't blame the Pubbies fer following Limbaugh's lead on certain issues. I listen to Limbaugh becuz of the way he can make the RAT-controlled Med'yuh dance to a right-leaning tune that you know they gotta HATE, using his 20 Million listeners to expose the feckless lies the RATS spew.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! No "gravitas"?! The Pubbie takeover of Congress in '94 wouldn't have happened without Rush's efforts--the new Congressional electees even admitted it. Dubyuh wouldda lost in 2000 without Rush's efforts and the GOP wouldn't have won back the Senate in 2002 without Rush's efforts and you wanna bring up that tired ol' Lib'ral attack that he's got no "gravitas"...you gotta be jokin'!!

I listen to Limbaugh at least 20-25 hours a week (I tape and re-listen) and have since Operation Desert Storm, so I consider myself somewhat qualified to offer opinion on this issue. In short, Rush's never been better and I expect 2003 to be his most successful year ever, both in terms of ratings and the impact he has over public opinion in America. Of course, this is just one dude's opinion, but I find yer criticisms to be unconvincing and somewhat prepackaged, almost as if you derived them not from listening to the EIB but more from reading what some envious Lefty DOLTS think or want their readers to think.

Reckon that's the beauty of livin' in a FRee country, my FRiend...MUD
