Yes! They are better literature than either LoTR or Potter, but they are overtly a Christ allegory for children. The last book is so intense I could hardly get through it. But I did let my daughter read it. The Silver Chair is a wonderful story about the way evil gains influence.
Clive Staples Lewis was a WWI combat veteran who saw things we can only imagine. He had strong reasons to think there is no God, only to later become an important Christian philosopher. His books deserve a cinamatic treatment as good as LoTR. I hope they get it someday soon.
