If one is black, brown, yellow or white, the prevailing thought is that he should take pride and celebrate that fact even though, just as in the case of my eye color, he had nothing to do with it.

He's wrong. If your white you have to be ashamed of what you are because everything that ever happened to anyone, anytime is your fault.

In my book, race might be an achievement, worthy of considerable celebration, only if a person was born white and through his effort and diligence became black.

How about someone who was born black, male and handsome and through his effort and diligence became while, female and ugly (Michael Jackson)?

Try having a party in celebration of being white. At the very least you will be considered an incurable racist and be publicly ostracized by every mealy-mouthed, politically correct pud within earshot and at worst you will be charged with a hate crime....or inciting hate crime. When are we going to start realizing that DIVERSITY IS DESTROYING OUR COUNTRY?
