I guess one stolen election is enough for the Maine Rat Party a year.

I don't by any stretch of the imagination assume I have a mandate here.

You sure this guy's last name isn't Lott. Why do we always elect such wimps?

Finally an honest person... Rat or not.

I'd like to think that as well.

But I suspect that if the control of the legislative house would have depended on
this one election...you'd see a Darwinian fight to the end.

She first tried a disenfranchised story of a voter who moved to Portland and didn't get his absentee ballot to vote (it was mailed to his local address).

This didn't fly so she tried to get 2 sealed absentee ballots counted (that had been thrown out) opened and counted (the voters names were on the outside of the envelope)presumably their affiliations were looked up.

But Maine law says the absentee ballots have to be counted by a certain date.

This didn't fly so she had the choice of pushing for a new election or give up.

The voter sentiment has turned negative on her because of her shenanigans and she would have lost.

The story made her out to be a wonderful loser.

"But I suspect that if the control of the legislative house would have depended on this one election"

That's why they stole the first contested election, the illegitimate (ba$tard if you prefer)senator from district 16 stole his election to gain control of the senate for the rats. The only problem is the state is 2 billion in the hole for the next fiscal period (2 years) and whoever is in control will get the rath of the voters 2 years from now because whatever they do they will alienate enough of their base(welfare mamas, state workers and union members) with either budget cuts or tax increases to mess them up for years to come.

"I don't by any stretch of the imagination assume I have a mandate here."

This is actually a good example of liberal press bias taking a comment out of context. The reporter wanted to make him look bad.

Rep Moody is actually a registered freeper and I wish to congratulate him and wish him well because our state is in such a mess and being part of the minority he really can't do a lot about it. I do hope that he becomes of voice of reason and goes on record against the rats attempt to turn Maine into a socialist utopia (They have already come real close).

I wouldn't count on that.
1. The mindless rabble that votes along with the bums, the parasites, the athiests, and the creeps to elect Democrats are easily swayed by what they see on TV and hear from people who read newspapers.
2. The liberal newsrooms will be sure to carefully lay blame for anything that is politically unpopular at the feet of both Republicans and Democrats "equally" unless they can blame Republicans completely.
3. From what I gather, Maine's Republican politicians are largely a pack of spineless, limpwristed "moderates" who will be sure to help the scumbags raise taxes, thereby also helping the liberal newsrooms blame Republicans for anything that is politically unpopular. Taxes increased? Well, the Republicans voted for them, too.... Programs cut? Yeah, haha, that's ALWAYS the Republicans' fault, LOL.

Bend over now - - here come the scumbags and their allies in the press.
