I have a theory. I was wondering where the FBI got the pictures of the men? Could those still pictures have come from videos from caves in Afghanistan? Remember the "Martyrs" always make suicide videos?

If I had a guess, I would imagine that these men were being watched by either Canadian, or American intelligence, perhaps even both, and that they lost trac of them a few days ago, and they are figuring that they crossed.

I would imagine that by the time the intelligence services reacted to these guys hitting the road, they had gotten across already, and that the Feds backed tracked all border crossings until they came across five guys of Arab descent, with names that didn't make sense going through a checkpoint.

The fact that they crossed over to the US illegally, doesn't mean that they were in Canada illegally, so Canada had plenty of pictures of these guys if they have been living there for a while.
