I am 44 and fair and white and the American border guys had no Problem stopping me. Speaking from experience.

Same here ---I've been stopped 3 different times ----but then maybe this is part of the problem ---they're stopping and questioning the most American looking being so afraid they'd be accused of profiling they can't question foreign looking (or sounding).

Maybe you should change your hairdo and/or your appearal..It could make things less tedious for you.
