I don't see NAFTA as a negative for Mexico, as it is for the US. The depressed economy of the US is a definite threat to Mexico.

Additionally, competition from China is a big problem. Plants in Mexico are closing and moving to China for cheaper labor. I read just yesterday that Mexico is importing Sombreros from China.
