I appreciate your position. After 9-11, however, I think things may have changed. People are beginning to see the damage done by x42 (and her). They saw the shameless pardons. In some circles, such as Eleanor Clift she will get a pass. I don't think she will get a pass as she runs for the White House. Her control of New York, a very, very DemocRATic state, is different than trying to control all 50 states.

I truly do hope that you are right and I am wrong.

However, please recall that during her announcement of her run for Moynihan's seat, virtually every pundit went on and on about how the damn-tough NY press would N-E-V-E-R give her a pass like the shameless whores in the national media. Well, they were dead wrong. In fact, the NY press may have even slurped her butt even deeper than her sycophant lickspittles in the big leagues.

Now, the shoe is again on the other foot? Somehow I just can't imagine the damned-tough journalists in the national press asking any damned-tough questions. Instead, I see another proven repeat of:

Bill Clinton: Softball
Al Gore: Softball
Hillary, the co-president: Softball
Jesse Jackson: Softball
Janet Reno: Softball
Robert Byrd: Softball
Terry McAuliff: Softball
A thousand other examples: Softball

The only one I would say is even going to come close to playing hardball is Hillary. Again, I hope that I am dead wrong, but my instincts tell me different.
