Drudge must have linked to the graphic on another site and used height and width tags to make it smaller on his webpage. You linked to the same graphic but without height and width tags. Thus, you posted the graphic actual size.

Why did it post it sooo big?

It was a huge, inappropriately sized image, 300,000+ bytes, at the UPI website. UPI made it a smaller visual size but when you posted it blew up to the default size.
