Clinton is eager to tell his story Says writing memoirs is a way to 'come to terms' By Bob Minzesheimer USA TODAY

Bill Clinton, who's getting nearly $12 million for his memoirs, says everyone eventually should write his or her life story.

''Everybody talks about how terrible this book-writing is. I've enjoyed it,'' the former president tells C-SPAN in an interview to be shown Sunday (6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. ET/ 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. PT).

''Everyone who is fortunate enough to have lived to be 50 should sit down at some point and write the story of his or her life, even if it is just for yourself, your children, your family.''

It's important, Clinton says, ''to try to come to terms with the life you lived and think about how you wish to spend whatever years are remaining.''

Clinton, who says he's working without a ghostwriter, aims to submit

Imagine Hillary's dilemna. She wants her book out first, so she can beat him to the adulation punch. But she probably wants his book out first to allow her to have the final word.

This is gonna be fun to watch...

I was worried it might be McGraw Hill, I spend about $800 on their books every year.

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill write books now? What are their titles?

He is probably having trouble writing that part where he suggested ninjas go after bin Laden.

You know, in day-to-day life, in speech, he had no trouble lying. However, when something is written down, it is there forever. He can't brag about how he won the election in 92 without talking about promising a tax cut, and he can't write about raising taxes without showing that he lied. In addition, he is going to have to actually explain his economic policy and why it worked, which will be a good trick since there was basically none.

Plus, there are LOTS of people to contradict him. I don't think Putin will keep quiet if Clinton attempts to portray his relationship with Russia as successful.

However, I don't believe he is working on the book anyway. He is probably saying this because the people at Knopf are starting to make noise about getting their money back. Times are a bit harder and they have the disaster of Gore's book to go by. Ha!

FREE REPUBLIC EXCLUSIVE: Juanita Broaddrick Comments on Clinton Book

I recently sent an e-mail to our friend, Juanita Broaddrick, to see if she had any comments about the book deal just inked by Bill Clinton. Her response, exclusively for the FReepers is here.

********************************************

Hi, Doug:

I have had numerous media calls regarding this matter, but have declined to comment. To my friends at Free Republic, you may quote the following:

I have no reason to believe Bill Clinton will ever answer questions regarding his 1978 sexual assault on me. He would be foolish to refer to a self-incriminating subject for which he has already been given a pardon in the form of silence.

With warm regards,

Juanita

I still find it difficult to believe that our society has so far degenerated that people found it acceptable for a rapist to occupy the White House. He should be in the big house.

He will never admit it. He will never admit anything, period.

However, the book should give us some interesting psychological glimpses into the mind of a lying, traitorous, narcissistic, sexual predator.

He's working on something all right. Knopf expects something even if it paid 10 mill for services already rendered (the cat's theory.) But my bet is that he's dictating some gibberish to an eager Dianne Sawyer wannabe (Dianne took Nixon's dictations,) who's got enough Ivy League education to clean it up, research the details and embellish it all. All ex-POTUSES/now-PARASITES do it this way, let's face it! We'll see, but ghostwriting is easy to spot, and if you don't I will!

Now list some of Clinton's negative qualities.

His book will sell just about as well as OwlBore's did, but Slick won't care -- he's already got the dough.

I think your right about his book being a poor seller (unless he tells all about his sexcapades in the Oral Orifice). But I think he will be upset if it doesn’t become a best seller.

You have to remember that this guy has a very fragile ego and is easily offended.

He will take it as a rejection if the book doesn’t do well.

Hopefully he will become so despondent when his book only sells 100 copies that he kills himself with a stolen handgun.

I doubt that unions will buy many - he did little for them.

Don’t forget how the Clintoon Justice Department ran a do nothing investigation of that Penn Union attack on the protestor at the Clinton Rally.

And how the Justice Dept. under Reno did nothing about the illegal spending of teacher’s union money on political campaigns.

If Bill and Hillary go on a book tour together, do you think she will buy a blue dress for the event, or maybe a blue pant-suit?
